What's UP?!
I remember the first time I got my schedule (form 5) during my freshman year. The number of units printed on it was only 17. As compared to the school my siblings went to, this is definitely a "light" load. But, don't forget... this is UP. We may be just freshies before; but still, difficulty is also relative.
Four years after, I am taking a load which is just a unit higher (18 units). I'd swear that this is no light load! In fact, this is just ordinary. It seems that we have plenty of time studying, but in the end, we realize that there is not much time left for everything. Somehow, I really can't understand why it is hard here in UP. Come to think of it, most of us, if not all, excelled greatly during high school and elementary. What is now the big difference?
I am just an average eng'g student, barely surviving this dreaded EEE life. I know, that most of us easily think, that if ever we were not enrolled in UP, We'd probably be a cum laude/ dean' s lister in another school. The question maybe, is that would we have exerted the same amount of effort at a different school? Who knows?
