'Kouyou' or fall foliage is the most anticipated thing in Japan during the autumn season. Just like for cherry blossoms, you would be surprised that the Japanese releases forecasts about the expected changes in kouyou all over Japan.

This was my 2nd Autumn in Japan yet my very first capture of its colors. Joined Kaladkaran-mates to a hike towards Mount Takao's peak. This was taken while still on the base of the mountain.

This pair just dropped by for a few minutes, posed for some pictures, strutted their stuff, then readily walked away.

Last November 2008, the Japanese celebrated Meiji Jingu's Restoration Anniversary.
The shrine was rebuilt after it was destroyed during WWII.

I missed to attend the illumination activity at night; however, was quite fortunate to pass by this performance right within the shrine compound.

Celebrated my birthday in Western Tokyo with friends who work for a sister-company. Since I didn't know the directions towards the hosts' apartment, I asked to be picked up and waited at the station.

A meeting place wherein passengers of Odakyu and Keio Nagayama converge.

Had my first experience at a Philippine "resto", ate good food -> tabehoudai (食べ放題) or "All You Can Eat" for just 1000yen. (Typical meals when eating out at fastfoods would cost around 700yen and above.)

The place had a simple setup, which greatly resembles the typical closed door eateries found back in the Philippines. They also serve beer and have a special videoke machine, not the typical arcade-looking type we are more familiar with. And of course, last but not the least, they have disco lights. So it's basically an eatery, beerhouse, videoke box, disco bar all rolled into one.
